Preparation for a Great Career
Our curriculum prepares you to be a leader in America’s second-largest industry through a program of personalized instruction and intensive hands-on training that blends the technical skills and creativity of the culinary arts with the knowledge required to run a food service business profitably.
A World-Class Program
Every program detail is designed to ensure that, as a graduate, you will have solid credentials in the culinary arts as well as real-life experience to strengthen your knowledge and professionalism.
You’ll learn in one of two unique, world-class facilities built specifically for the study of the culinary arts. Both of our campuses support the learning process through advanced technologies and interior design—state-of-the-art classrooms and labs, as well as unobstructed views between classrooms to facilitate the open kitchen concept of European-style training and cooking.
In addition to internships and externships that will help you broaden your skills, you’ll have the opportunity to work in one of our student-run, full-service restaurants, or in the Muskegon campus pastry and coffee shop. They are an integral part of our teaching facility designed to bring the art of business of food together.
Baker College of Muskegon’s Culinary Arts program is accredited by the American Culinary Federation.
